The Living Tradition magazine is no longer in publication. It was published between 1992 and 2022. Although it wasn't the only work that The Living Tradition did as an organisation, it played an important part in promoting an interest in traditional music and song, and provided a platform for other activity. It leaves behind and interesting archive relating to what was an important period of the folk revival. Part of this site remains, to give access to details of past issues, articles, news and reviews, and historical information about festivals, clubs etc. Not all of the information is being updated, but we hope the websites and other info given will help point you in the right direction for more recent information.
