Cilla Fisher & Artie Trezise @ Kilmarnock Folk Club, 1975

Cilla Fisher & Artie Trezise. An historic live recording from Kilmarnock Folk Club in 1975.

Cilla Fisher & Artie Trezise @ Kilmarnock Folk Club, 1975

This is an unedited informal recording of Cilla & Artie when they were guests at Kilmarnock Folk Club in 1975 - incredibly now over 50 years ago. Many of the recordings we have were continuous, with the tape running throughout and capturing the spoken introductions and audience interaction. Sometimes, to save tape, or battery, people chose just to record the songs. This is the case here. Although the instructions are largely missing, we hope you can still appreciate the very special ambiance of this recording. Thanks to Janetta Fairbairn for the tape.

This recording is part of The Living Tradition Archive and is presented here for your enjoyment and as part of the process of documenting and indexing this archive. Feedback is welcome.
